Teen Mothers

Agapelpis Teen Moms Support Center – Uganda (AGETMSCU) is a faith-based, Christian, non-profit organization committed to empowering teen mothers and supporting their children to thrive.

We provide holistic programs that nurture both personal growth and family well-being, helping young mothers regain confidence, build life skills, and create sustainable futures. Our areas of intervention include counseling and mentorship to offer guidance and emotional support, education and reintegration programs to help teen mothers continue their studies, and spiritual growth initiatives that inspire purpose and resilience. We also conduct community awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and foster supportive environments, alongside vocational training and career development programs that equip young mothers with skills to earn and sustain livelihoods.

Children

Equally, we are committed to the well-being of children born to teenage parents. By supporting mothers, we create safe, nurturing environments where children can grow healthy, receive care and education, and develop the foundation for a brighter future. Through community awareness campaigns, advocacy, and family-strengthening initiatives, we foster supportive networks that benefit both mothers and children, helping families and communities flourish together.

Through these efforts, we work to ensure children born to teenage parents grow up safe, healthy, and empowered, while mothers are supported to achieve independence, dignity, and a renewed sense of hope.
